Adult Mental Health Awareness – Online 10am-12 Break 12:30-2:30 (4 hours)
Adult Mental Health Awareness is an introductory course designed to raise awareness of the issues surrounding mental health. It is not intended to replace the two day course but is a good introduction to those interested in Mental Health.
This course raises awareness of mental health. It covers:
- What mental health is and how to challenge stigma
- A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues
- An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing
- Highlighting wellbeing during the Covid 19 lockdown
This is a four hour course. Each learner will be provided with a learning manual & workbook which is accredited with Mental Health First Aid England delivered direct to them.
The training is facilitated through power point, discussions, video, activities quizzes and is a fun packed four hours whilst being aware of the difficult subject matter.
Each and every course is delivered by a quality assured instructor, who has attended and passed the rigorous seven-day instructor training programme accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health.
